Build A Strong Security Line and Enable High-Quality Development

In order to further implement Starlite’s 2025 safety policy “to improve countermeasures and measures for safe production and prevent accidents by enhancing the ability of employees in predicting, detecting and controlling risks”, Starlite Group held the first company-wide KY event release meeting in Starlite China on October 31, 2025. Three team groups of Starlite Japan respectively from the Ritto factory, Hiroshima factory, and Yamaguchi factory, and six team groups of Starlite China, in a total of six team groups, participated in this releasing meeting. Starlite Kunshan's M and S officers, section chiefs of the production department, next-generation employee representatives, and safety technicians participated in the meeting, and the head office of Starlite in Japan participated in the online live conference simultaneously.

At the meeting site, the release teams presented a wonderful feast of safety empowerment through vivid PPT interpretations. After fierce competition, the Starlite China’s “Safety-first” Group of Fine Chemical Section 1 won the first prize, the “Forever-winner” Group of Fine Chemical Section 2 went to the second, and followed by the “Self-Satisfaction” Group of Section 2 of High-performance at the third place.

The successful holding of this KY event has created a strong atmosphere of “everyone is the protagonist of safety, and everything is about safety norms”. In his summary speech, President Saigo said that behind every accident is 300 minor risks that have not been identified and controlled in place, which means that every 300 minor risks identified and controlled can prevent an accident from happening. In the future, Starlite Group will vigorously promote KY activities and build a new pattern of safety management that “everyone knows risks, talks about safety for everything, and prevents hidden dangers from time to time”.
